Too much stuff, not enough time. A few photos in the meantime:

All photos taken with my trusty, but now somewhat outdated Canon AE-1 film camera. If only my digital camera could take such nice pictures… |

Hi JW
Stumbled onto you and youtube through the Piano Guy, scott houston…
Love your style and enthusiasm for piano PLUS youre a funky white guy too!
I want to say GREAT PICS too…you got a great eye for the visual too…
i’m a artist here in Baltimore MD http://robertmcclintock.com
I play and sing with fake books, but not consistent…Always have had MUSIC in my blood (theater family) … my goal in life is to play 5-7pm at a Holiday Inn piano bar somewhere…hee-hee
Anyway the other day a musician friend (with a band) said his keyboard guy disappeared and so i said i’d play with them! HaHaHa…he said “what are you doing JAN 10th?” I said “oh my gawd!!…i got a gig
So now i’m crashing the boards…learning 2 or three songs…i’m not crazy…All blues
This might be the NUDGE i need…!! I really want to play more but time is hard to set aside
Your writing about music being free and available to all is important
Glad i stumbled into your world…
keep snapping!!
All best to you!

Thanks Robert –
First of all, I loved your art! We’re big animal lovers around here, and your cats and dogs are fantastic! Funny, touching — all good. I also have fond memories of Baltimore from my one day there way back in 1988… struck me as a wonderful city.
On the gig — Great!! You’ll do fine, just hang back and groove. Nice thing about the whole band thing — you’ve got those other guys around to hold you up, (if you need it, which you probably won’t). My first gig, and I’m not kidding about this, was actually in a McDonald’s for $25. So you’re way ahead of me :)
Glad you like the photos, I haven’t had as much time recently for photography. Seems I can only afford one hobby at a time. I’m a software engineer (i.e. computer programmer) by day, so my free time is a little few and far between. I’m so behind that I still shoot on film :)
Thanks again for the note — and comment back and let me know how the gig goes down!
